This year, we are giving visitors a genuine insight into what happens behind the scenes at our specialist crane truck and crane artic build facilities. Not everybody gets the chance to visit our manufacturing operations in person, so we are bringing that experience directly to the show.

The Standout Crane: Palfinger PK1050 TEC H

At the centre of our stand will be something special.

The Palfinger PK1050 TEC H crane, paired with the PJ150 E JV1 fly jib, is the standout piece of equipment we are bringing to ScotPlant this year. It is a serious bit of kit and a great example of what modern crane truck builds can achieve.

In practical terms, it delivers:

• 3,150kg at 22.3 metres without the jib

• 730kg at 34.9 metres with the fly jib

That kind of reach and lifting performance opens up a wide range of possibilities on site. It also highlights the level of precision required when integrating cranes of this scale into a truck build. From mounting and stability to control systems and usability, every detail matters.
