PR: THE NWH GROUP EXPANDS WITH NEW SKIP LOADERS FROM MV COMMERCIAL

MV Commercial has supplied waste and recycling management specialist The NWH Group with three new MAN Truck & Bus TGM 4x2 skip loader trucks within just a matter of weeks, helping the operator respond quickly to continued business growth and rising customer demand.

The latest additions join The NWH Group’s existing fleet of 36 skip loaders and include two vehicles fitted with Multilift bodywork alongside one unit equipped with Boughton bodywork.

The vehicles will operate across the company’s hire division and support its increasingly popular wait-and-load services across multiple UK regions.

Ready to Go Fleet Solutions

The NWH Group required rapid access to additional vehicles to meet growing demand, and MV Commercial was able to supply the correct specification units directly from its extensive Ready to Go stock programme.

MV Commercial’s Ready to Go fleet strategy focuses on anticipating market trends and maintaining immediate availability of high-quality specialist commercial vehicles, allowing operators to expand their fleets without the extended lead times often associated with factory orders.

Craig Williams, Group Operations Director at The NWH Group, explained:

“Demand for skip hire increased significantly throughout the pandemic and has continued growing. In response, we made the decision to expand our skip loader fleet.

“We had previously leased vehicles from MV Commercial, so we already knew the level of service they provide. From our first conversation through to taking delivery of the fully liveried vehicles took less than a month, which was considerably quicker than ordering a new chassis through traditional dealer channels and waiting for bodywork installation.

“The whole process was seamless and we will definitely return to MV Commercial again when we need to extend or upgrade the fleet further.”

The 18-tonne rigid vehicles will operate from The NWH Group’s Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle depots, working five days per week across demanding waste management and recycling operations.

Each vehicle has been finished in the company’s distinctive two-tone blue livery, completed in-house by MV Commercial’s specialist fabrication and livery teams.
